Terms and conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Gun Store Systems (“Gun Store Systems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and each customer or client receiving products or services from Gun Store Systems (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).

These Terms are intended to serve as the general terms governing your business relationship with Gun Store Systems.

By engaging Gun Store Systems, purchasing or receiving services, approving a proposal, submitting payment, authorizing us to perform work, creating or maintaining an account, renewing or continuing services after receiving notice of these Terms, or electronically accepting these Terms, you acknowledge that you have received notice of these Terms and agree that they govern the services provided to you, subject to applicable law.

These Terms are publicly available on the Gun Store Systems website and may also be linked in proposals, invoices, signup forms, emails, account communications, and other correspondence.

When reasonably available, Gun Store Systems may request affirmative electronic acceptance of these Terms through a checkbox, electronic signature, order form, or similar method.

If a separately signed proposal, statement of work, order form, or written agreement contains terms that directly conflict with these Terms, the terms of the specific written agreement control with respect to that particular service.

Website ownership and website unlock fee

Gun Store Systems offers certain websites as part of an ongoing managed website, marketing, ecommerce, or digital services relationship.

Websites built on or after January 1, 2026

Unless a written proposal or agreement expressly states otherwise, websites first built by Gun Store Systems on or after January 1, 2026 are subject to a $500 Website Unlock Fee if Client wishes to take ownership of and transfer the transferable website files away from Gun Store Systems.

The Website Unlock Fee is a one-time fee and is separate from Client's monthly service fees.

The Website Unlock Fee must be paid, together with all other outstanding balances, before Gun Store Systems is required to release or transfer the website.

Websites built before January 1, 2026

The standard $500 Website Unlock Fee described above does not automatically apply to websites first built by Gun Store Systems before January 1, 2026, unless a separate proposal, agreement, upgrade, rebuild, migration, or other written arrangement specifically provides otherwise.

What the website unlock includes

After payment of the applicable Website Unlock Fee and all outstanding amounts, Client may receive the transferable portions of the website specifically created for Client and owned or controlled by Gun Store Systems.

What the website unlock does not include

The $500 Website Unlock Fee does not purchase, transfer, prepay, or guarantee continued access to third-party products or services. This includes, without limitation:

• premium plugins
• themes
• software licenses
• ecommerce applications
• hosting
• domain registration
• email or SMS platforms
• AI search services
• product search systems
• APIs
• data feeds
• distributor integrations
• payment processors
• merchant accounts
• shipping services
• stock photography or licensed media
• premium fonts
• security services
• backup services
• analytics platforms
• any other third-party subscription, license, usage fee, or recurring service

Client is responsible for establishing and paying for any third-party accounts, subscriptions, software, or licenses required to continue operating the transferred website.

Some features may stop functioning after transfer unless Client obtains its own license, account, hosting environment, integration, or subscription.

Gun Store Systems is not required to transfer licenses, subscriptions, accounts, software, tools, development systems, or services that are licensed to Gun Store Systems or used across multiple Gun Store Systems clients.

Continued business relationship

These Terms apply to the ongoing business relationship between Client and Gun Store Systems and are not limited solely to website visitors or online purchases.

Gun Store Systems may provide a link to the current Terms in emails, invoices, proposals, account communications, signup pages, or other correspondence so that the Terms remain readily available to Client.

Where Client begins new services, materially expands services, or establishes a new account, Gun Store Systems may require Client to expressly acknowledge and accept the then-current Terms before work begins.

Continued services after notice of updated Terms may constitute acceptance of those updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Gun Store Systems will not retroactively impose a new fee, ownership restriction, or other material financial obligation on completed work where doing so would conflict with an existing written agreement or applicable law.
