About
The people behind the systems
Gun Store Systems is organised into three practices. Every build, every integration and every published guide is owned by one of them — and reviewed by the practice with firsthand experience in that area.
Practices
Who does the work
Named individual bylines are added as team members choose to publish under their own name. We do not create fictional authors.
Systems implementation team
Gun Store Systems Editorial
Written by the implementation team that builds and maintains growth, ecommerce, payment, fulfillment, retention and operating systems for firearm businesses.
Integration and platform engineering
Gun Store Systems Engineering
Reviewed by the engineers who build storefronts, POS integrations, distributor feeds and payment connections in production.
Payments and underwriting
Gun Store Systems Payments Practice
Reviewed by the team that places, migrates and supports firearm merchant accounts and gateway integrations.
Leadership
Founder
Our founder is an Army veteran, a lifelong hunter, and a former digital agency owner with roughly 15 years building digital systems for businesses across dozens of industries. Gun Store Systems is the result of narrowing that experience to a single industry and rebuilding the delivery model around the five systems firearm businesses actually run on.
He remains directly involved in assessments and systems architecture. If you book a Systems Assessment, you are talking to someone who has built these systems, not a sales team reading a script.
Publishing practice, evidence levels and correction policy are documented on the editorial standards page.
Systems Assessment

Assessments are run by the implementation team, not a sales desk.
